Shooting
The annual shooting match between the school and the Old Boys took place on the school range during the first week of the New Year, resulting in a win for OS 339:331.
After the first round, the school were leading 179:172, but a fine second-round 89 from Charles Adams secured the win. The OS Shield (for the highest scoring member of the school) went to Alex Francis for his 91 (the top score of the morning), closely followed by Sam Reece (88). Other OS scores were: Jon Flanders (87), Ben Walker (85) and Martin Phillips (78).
Next year's competition is likely to be held in the corresponding week. Those wanting to take part are invited to get in touch with Tony Holding
