Knowing that the School had just completed a successful season, Old Boys' captain Andrew Hall had assembled a strong side for this annual encounter, played on the Hawkenbury all-weather pitch
on Wednesday 31st March. But hockey is a team game and individual skills from the Old Boys never really blended into a strong team performance against a well-practised school side.
Early chances went wide before the School team hit their stride, scoring three times to the Old Boys nil, with goals from Adam Woodcock and Jack Mauduit (x2). Nevertheless, the afternoon was
much enjoyed by all who took part.
